Esther From Struggle to Success

Meet Esther, a determined 32-year-old mother from Kanyama Village who transformed her family's future with the M'phika Fund. In 2024, she received a $120 loan to start her dream bakery—a small business that would change everything.

Today, Esther's bakery thrives, providing fresh bread to her community while generating enough income to pay her children's school fees. She's even employed a neighbor, creating jobs in her village. The two goats she received through the program have multiplied, providing additional income through breeding.

Our Rising Star: Chisomo

Meet Chisomo, a 16-year-old champion from Area 23, Lilongwe! When he first joined Lion FC in 2024, he was struggling with peer pressure and skipping school. But on our pitch, something magical happened—he discovered his incredible talent as a midfielder and earned the captain's armband!

Under Coach Banda's mentorship, Chisomo learned time management, leadership, and goal-setting. His grades soared, and now he dreams of becoming a physical education teacher! Today, he mentors younger players and spreads positivity throughout our Lion FC family.
